Prom dress 2014

  

This is my prom dress for 2014. I'm am going to 2 proms this year Bucksport's prom and Sumner's prom. This dress fits for our theme at Bucksport "Fire and Ice" but it doesn't fit so well for Sumner's prom there's is "casino". I went to 2 different bridal shops trying to find my dress, House of brides and Henry's, I went through like 20 different dresses before finding the "dress for me". I fell in love with this dress as soon as I stepped foot in the dress, it fits absolutely perfect on me. On the day I was shopping for my prom dress I brought Shawn with me. And you no how boys are "why do I have to go" "everything will look beautiful on you as always" "I don't wanna go" well he sucked it up for me and went. When we got there he was picking out dresses left and right and dragging them into my dressing room. Well I came out in all of the dresses and he was like "that's so pretty". Well when I came out in this dress he was almost in tears, he walked up to me as I was standing on the plate form and grabbed my hands and kissed me and said "this looks so amazing on you"

 

I am very thankful of my family for getting me this dress. Cause many girls can't afford a dress and they are scared to go to prom cause they don't have the "perfect dress". Well this is my perfect dress and I love everything about it. The color of it is orange and it is sparkly at the top, it is a princess dress I don't like how puffy it is so I am taking a couple layers out of the bottom of the dress so it is a little less puffy. Next Saturday I am going back for alterations and Shawn is getting fitted for his tux, and there going to match us all perfectly, I believe he is getting a white tux.

 

I can't wait for these to proms to come they are gunna be such great days. It will start out by me getting my hair done in the morning, then getting ready with friends, going to take pictures, then going out to a lovely dinner, then dance the night away with the one I love and great friends. These 2 days I will remember my whole life and I will never forget them. I'm way to excited :D I hope other people on the blog life will upload pics of there prom dress, cause I love looking at them!

 

2 people that I look up to the most!

I have never had better best friends than these to. Natalie and Dylan are always there for me when I need them to be. We spend most of our weekends together. Shawn, Dylan, Natalie, and I have the most fun together, we love movie nights, bowling, sweetfrog, sleeping, car rides singing to each other, and of course when Natalie and I make breakfast for the boys.

     Natalie I will talk bout first we have been best friends for so long the past 2 summers we would never go a day without seeing each other. We are so close with each others families. She is always there for me and will always be no matter what. She is also one of those friends where you could never ask anything more of, she does everything she can for the ones she loves. We love girl talks at midnight, wrestling with each other, cuddling and sleeping for 13 hours, swimming, four wheeling, shopping, getting our nails done, Dysart runs, olive garden trips, watching buck wild, playing just dance, setting off fireworks, walking on her road, kayaking, playing catch, well I think you get the point we pretty much do everything together.

    Dylan I will now talk about you... We have been best friends since we were like 2 years old cause my mom used to babysit him. He is that silly, nice, weird, best friend that most people have, he is so supportive always. We so many memories that I never will forget, from throwing Legos at my dad, playing on the swing set, snowmobiling, watching movies, trips to Bangor, cuddling with you and Nat when I didn't have a boyfriend, prom last year, Dysart trip, Denney's after prom, when you left me kayaking by myself, and so many more.

   These to are such role models to me, I look up to them for everything, there so fun to be around, and I love them. Thanks for being the best friends that anyone could every ask for!

A bestfriend that everyone dreams of having.

So this is one of my best friends. I spend time with her everyday, and we do everything together. We take photo sessions like this all the time. Even though she doesn't like taking pictures with me she does once in a while.

      We have had so many memories in these last few months, from Bangor trips getting lost with Timmy, cheering at her basketball games, hooking the sled up to the four wheeler and letting her brother Chris tow us around, sleep overs on school nights while we were having boy troubles, spending the whole weekend together, on vacation staying at her house for the whole thing and never going home, cooking with her mom, ordering Chinese when we had no power during the ice storm, having the boys over to play pool, singing in the car to the top of our lungs together, snowmobiling on silver lake, softball every Sunday, Mr. Bucksport rehearsal, and so much more but we will stop there for now.

     Lonnie is one of those best friends that every one dreams of having, she's always there for me and would do anything for me. She's so fun to be around unless she is throwing a "tantrum". Which Kim and Bri would know about. Anyways I could go on an on about Lonnie but I'm going to stop for now.

14 girls as 1

This is my basketball cheering squad. We had 8 freshman, 1 sophomore, 3 juniors, and 2 seniors. The people in the front row we have been cheering together since Sarra and I's 6th grade year. As of this year it was our last time cheering as our "fab four". But as Sarra and I have 1 last year we both know Tekla and Tiff are going to go out in this crazy world and do so many great things, and were so proud of them! It will be so difficult to compete without these to because there family, but we know that they will be there every competition to support us.

          Many people don't understand how hard cheering is, we have to create a routine that is almost 3 minutes long and do it as one person was doing it. All of our motions, dancing, voices, stunts, etc has to be all together or we get deductions. We have to lift a person in the air over our heads with only 3 people, doing different tricks, or even with the flyer on 1 leg, and not drop her or that's a deduction. We have to have loud voices in the cheer or that's a deduction. We have to be smiling, giving facials, and most of all look like were having fun, and if we don't through the routine with every single person doing so its a deduction. Most athletes practice 2 hours a day 5 days a week, well for cheering its allot different we practice during the week days 2-3 hours depending on the day, if we have to cheer at a basketball game we have an hour practice before the game. Also on Saturday's we practice for 4 hours, but when we have a competition coming up on Saturdays we practice for 6 hours. I hope by explaining some things about cheering will make you second guess yourself when you say cheering not a sport, because it is. To our 14 girl squad it is our life from August-February.

          This 2013-2014 cheering season was such a long road between injury's, grades, and most importantly the loss of one of our cheerleaders. But we got through it together, and we worked as a team and most importantly a family. Every performance we did it was for Taylor. Even though we may have came up short at Eastern Maine's and not being able to go by 1.7 points, we placed 7th and that was Taylor's favorite number.

           I love my teammates more than anyone would no. Every though we spent every single day together with 4-6 hour practices and got completely sick of each other. We all no that we loved each other more than words can describe.

      

Happy Couple!

This is my Best Friend/ Boyfriend. His name is Shawn, he attends school at Sumner. We have been talking for like 4 months now, but it feels like so much longer. How did we meet? Well we both go to HCTC in the morning, as I attend the CNA program he attends the Law Enforcement program. I have a best friend that's from Sumner that used to go to my pitching clinics but doesn't anymore, but we both are in the CNA program so we see each other every day, while "this girl" is his best friend to. Sally always talked bout Shawn 24/7, I found it rather annoying and I could care less about what she was saying about this "Shawn kid" that I never meet, but I always listened to what she had to say. So this one day, I was having a really bad day. An she thought to her self like she always does, How do I make Sami's day better? Well she always said that we would be perfect together, cause were like the same person. So one day at break at HCTC she dragged me down the stairs to the law enforcement program to meet this "Shawn kid". Next thing I new sally was gone, she went to go get Shawn, then she came back over and I was looking down at the ground leaned against the wall, and she yells SAMI THIS IS SHAWN. So I lift my head up and in that moment I connected eyes with this handsome looking man. We talked till break was over and when I came break up stairs with sally I looked at her and said "this is the guy I wanna be with."

           After class that day I went to my bus like I always do, and next thing I know my Instagram is getting blown up by Shawn liking my photos. So I thought to myself well "pay backs a bi*ch" I started liking all of his photos on Instagram. Then we got to the point where we liked every picture of each others on Instagram. So then sally gave him my number, and ever since then we have talked all day every day. We live an hour away from each other, but we some how find out how to make the distance work. Every weekend since we started dating on Feb 8, we have spent the whole weekend together Friday-Sunday at each other houses.

           This boy that you see in this picture is my best friend. I no I'm just in high school but I could seriously see spending the rest of my life with this "Shawn kid." I love him, and he loves me and that's all that matters!

My life inside a circle of white chalk!

This is my life in a nut shell. I pitch year round, just for that 1 season of the year. I love my team so much, there like my family. The season is starting in two weeks, and we will be trying to capture our third straight eastern and state title. My freshman year I was the only freshman to swing up to varsity for the post season, because I'm a pitcher and could back up Cassidy if anything happened. It was such a great experience and made me a better player overall. Last year when I was a sophomore I played varsity and JV, It was a lot of fun and made new friends. This year I am a junior and its my time to shine in that white painted circle around the pitchers mound. I am a little nervous, but I have confidence and I have been watching Cassidy for the past to years and I have learned so much. Me and Cassidy go to the same pitching clinic every Sunday to, so we became really good friends. Also I have my best friend behind the plate catching for me, every pitch of every inning of every game. I can always count on Lonnie she always there when I need her, she catches me when I fall, my shoulder to cry on, the person that can always make me laugh. Because I have my absolute best friend 43 feet away from me all season long, it will make it that much better. I also have 3 others on the team that I am really great friends with that always will have my back. Kimmy- 1rst base. Debbie-Short stop. Finally Bri- Center Field. I no that they will be right there along with Lonnie cheering me on all season. 2014 softball season is going to be such a great and fun season cause I get to play with my best friends and were going to get another eastern and state title.
