This is my life in a nut shell. I pitch year round, just for that 1 season of the year. I love my team so much, there like my family. The season is starting in two weeks, and we will be trying to capture our third straight eastern and state title. My freshman year I was the only freshman to swing up to varsity for the post season, because I'm a pitcher and could back up Cassidy if anything happened. It was such a great experience and made me a better player overall. Last year when I was a sophomore I played varsity and JV, It was a lot of fun and made new friends. This year I am a junior and its my time to shine in that white painted circle around the pitchers mound. I am a little nervous, but I have confidence and I have been watching Cassidy for the past to years and I have learned so much. Me and Cassidy go to the same pitching clinic every Sunday to, so we became really good friends. Also I have my best friend behind the plate catching for me, every pitch of every inning of every game. I can always count on Lonnie she always there when I need her, she catches me when I fall, my shoulder to cry on, the person that can always make me laugh. Because I have my absolute best friend 43 feet away from me all season long, it will make it that much better. I also have 3 others on the team that I am really great friends with that always will have my back. Kimmy- 1rst base. Debbie-Short stop. Finally Bri- Center Field. I no that they will be right there along with Lonnie cheering me on all season. 2014 softball season is going to be such a great and fun season cause I get to play with my best friends and were going to get another eastern and state title.

ReplyDeleteI'm excited for softball season now too. I only caught a couple games last year but I hope to see more this year. Cassidy's the best. It sounds like you have a lot of friends still on the team. Playing softball is one of the highlights of my childhood and high school. There's nothing like sharing the field with girls that feel like family to you. There's a lot of time inside that chalk.
In terms of writing, proofread before you hit publish. Put in paragraph breaks. Check for capitalization and run-on's and all that good stuff.
